The event is scheduled to begin on May 10, 2025. Organizers emphasize that the tournament is more promotional than competitive, aiming to popularize esports in general and Fortnite in particular. In the Pro-Am format, gameplay is combined with entertainment and educational elements.
Location and Format
The tournament will be hosted at the Galen Center in Los Angeles. This multifunctional indoor arena and major sports complex is owned and operated by the University of Southern California. The total area of the facility is 23,700 m².
The Galen Center features various sports arenas, tennis courts, and office spaces. It can accommodate up to 10,258 spectators. Besides esports events, it regularly hosts:
- basketball games,
- volleyball tournaments,
- tennis competitions,
- theatrical performances,
- tech and art exhibitions,
- live concerts.
The tournament will be streamed on YouTube and Twitch as usual. It will follow a round-robin mini-championship format. The highlight of this promotional event is that pro esports players will be paired with Fortnite developers and content creators.

Participant Lineup
Despite being largely a showcase event, the prize pool is significant. The winning duo will receive $500,000 USD. Notable figures already confirmed for Pro-Am 2025 include:
- Bugha – Kyle Giersdorf, Fortnite World Champion 2019;
- Clix – Allen Conrod, co-owner of esports org XSET;
- CourageJD – Jack Dunlop, popular American vlogger, streamer, and commentator;
- Lachlan – Australian Fortnite player, founder and owner of PWR;
- Mongraal – Kyle Jackson, British streamer and pro gamer.
More names will be added as the event approaches. Organizers promise an exciting blend of skillful gameplay and entertainment, with fans getting a chance to meet Fortnite legends in person.
